Boeing Co’s efforts to interfere with Airbus sales of A330neo came out of the US to India, Bloomberg reports. India market is viewed by European plane maker as a key market to increase its sales in Asia.

One of last Airbus losses is Indian unit of Singapore Airlines Ltd that made a choice of Boeing 787 after American Airlines Group Inc. and Hawaiian Holdings Inc. took similar steps.

Fast attack of American rival supported by aggressive pricing and tax cuts in the US already gives its results.

In April Airbus announced that it is going to reduce output of A330 models to transit to newer models due to low sales.

Indian carrier Vistara is going to place an order for six Boeing 787 planes with option to buy four more. The most expensive 787 model costs as much as $325,8 million. It means that deal with Indian carrier valued at $3,3 billion.

Airbus however reached further in cooperation with Vistara and going to sell 60 narrow-body planes to this Indian airline.

Earlier, Airbus announced a whole series of A330 neo sales to more than 100 airlines that are already using older models.
