US Treasuries yield crawls to 3%: market news

Shares continue rising on Thursday amid growing confidence in regards to further economic expansion. US Treasuries are sliding, their yields are slowly approaching 3% level. European bonds yields rose as well. Index Stoxx Europe 600 went up by 0,5%. Banks and insurers are the leaders of European stocks today.

Shares continue rising on Thursday amid growing confidence in regards to further economic expansion.

US Treasuries are sliding, their yields are slowly approaching 3% level. European bonds yields rose as well. Yield of 10-year German bonds increased to 0,50% today, yield of 10-year British bonds is 1,374%. Italian 10-year bonds yield dropped to 2,837%.

Index Stoxx Europe 600 went up by 0,5%. Banks and insurers are the leaders of European stocks today. British FTSE rose by 0,3% and German DAX by 0,4%.

US futures are also rising after Nasdaq Composite set another record yesterday. It stimulated growth of shares from Tokyo to Sydney. Asian-Pacific MSCI Index rose today by 0,6%.

Euro gains for four days in a row. It is up 0,4% today and costs $1,182. Dollar declined, Turkish lira fluctuates. British pound went up 0,3% to $1,3457.

WTI oil gained 0,3% today to $64,92 a barrel after it dropped yesterday due to unexpected rise in US crude inventories.
