Collapse of bitcoin continues

Bitcoin dropped to the lowest level since February, as Bloomberg reports. Price of digital currency decreased by 4,6% on Tuesday to $6450,01. As a result, Bitcoin lost more than a half of its value since the beginning of this year. The record high price was last time touched in December when most popular cryptocurrency touched level of $19511.

Bitcoin dropped to the lowest level since February, as Bloomberg reports.

Price of digital currency decreased by 4,6% on Tuesday to $6450,01. As a result, Bitcoin lost more than a half of its value since the beginning of this year. The record high price was last time reached in December, when most popular cryptocurrency touched level of $19511.

Bitcoin also lost 12% on Monday after theft at Coinrail exchange in South Korea.

Digital assets encountered with increasing attention on behalf of regulatory authorities recently among thefts, market manipulations and money laundering. In May US Department of Justice issued information about criminal probe on illegal trading practices used to manipulate with prices of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
