Chinese shares may gain 20% within next three year, even if conflict with the US is not resolved, Bloomberg reports with reference to the founder of hedge-fund APS Asset Management Pte ($3 billion of assets).

If conflict on trade and technology is resolved, then the growth will be up to 50%. CSI index so far lost 14% this year.

The main reason for hedge-fund’s manager confidence is in strong technological position of China.

On Tuesday CSI 300 grew up 2,8% and Shanghai Composite 2,5%.

APS Asset Management is not the only fund being optimistic. Other hedge-funds in China showed intention to buy stocks this month, since market creates good opportunity to buy.

Sectors that look attractive in opinion of APS Asset Management include cyber security, big data and semiconductors, including Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corp.
