European Union will consider options of introducing tariffs on coal, pharmaceutical goods and chemical products from the US, if President Trump will implement restrictions on automobiles from Europe, Reuters reports with the reference to German magazine Wirtschaftswoche.

Members of European Union will make decision on their final strategy after visit of European Commission President to the US next week to conduct negotiation. After that the list of countermeasures will be developed, and will be wider than one prepared after the US imposed tariffs on steel and aluminum.

President of European Commission will meet with Trump on July 25. EC is coordinating trade policy within bloc that consists of 28 countries.
