Last Thursday euro showed the biggest drop in a month after European Central Bank confirmed that it is not going to change interest rate till the end of summer 2019, Bloomberg reports. However, experts think that not everything is lost for region’s common currency, since euro area economy shows stable growth, and price pressure is increasing due to global tension.

Some analytics think that it can result in earlier than expected tightening of monetary policy and euro strenghening.

Experts of Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) forecast that euro will end this year at $1,18, which corresponds with Bloomberg’s survey. By the middle of 2019 it will grow to $1,23 and finish the year at $1,28.

US and EU talks that helped to prevent large scale trade war, at least in short-term perspective, also support analytics forecasts in regards to euro.
