On Sunday President Trump supported boycott against American producer of motorcycles Harley Davidson Inc, Reuters reports.

Earlier this month company announced plans to transfer some production from the US to European Union to avoid tariffs that trading bloc imposed in response to US tariffs to aluminum and steel.

By this announcement, Harley Davidson caused President’s critics, and Trump promised to levy more taxes on company and attract more foreign producers into the country to create competition.

Harley evaluated that tariffs will cost it from $30 to $45 million until the end of 2018 and $90 million a year in the future.

Company producing motorcycles outside of US include among others Japan’s Honda Motor Co Ltd and Yamaha Corp, European BMW and Ducati, as well as Indian Hero MotoCorp Ltd, Bajaj Auto Ltd.
