As Reuters informs, on Thursday central bank of Norway left its key interest rate unchanged at 0,50%. However, rates hike can be expected next month.

Bank notes the stable country’s economic growth compared with June. Although inflation has not reached target level yet, important factors indicate that it shall be expected in the nearest future.

Most likely, Norges Bank will raise interest rate despite the fact that inflation misses target. Higher oil prices, recovery of housing market and economic growth create a need for such hike.

According to economists, rates will be raised in September.

Norway’s crown was stable after bank’s announcement.
