Dollar falls, stocks in Europe and US rise: Market News

According to Bloomberg, dollar falls today, while shares in Europe and US are rising on hopes in regards to trade tension ease. Bloomber. Chinese yuan grew, while US Treasuries fell. Most sectors of Stoxx Europe 600 Index show growth today.

According to Bloomberg, dollar falls today, while shares in Europe and US are rising on hopes in regards to trade tension ease. Bloomberg Dollar Spot Index gained 0,2%.

Chinese yuan grew, while US Treasuries fell. Its yield is 2,88%. S&P 500 increased by 0,4%.

Most sectors of Stoxx Europe 600 Index show growth today. Index itself gained 0,4%. Euro rose by 0,2% to $1,1369. German DAX grew by 0,3%. British FTSE gained 0,6%. Pound is growing as well after data showed increased in UK’s retail sales in July.

Shares of most Asian markets were declining after disappointing report on earnings of IT-giant Tencent Holding. However, then they recovered losses after news that China’s Vice minister of trade will visit US for talks at the end of August.

Lira shows third day of growth.

Metals are rebounding. Price of gold is rising from 19 month low. It increased by 0,4% to $1179,53 a barrel. Oil slightly gained to $65,06 per barrel.
