Oil is traded at highest level in 4 years: Market News

Shares in Europe are growing after mixed session in Asia. Index Stoxx Europe 600 gained 0,3% after slow start. S&P 500 is firming together with Nasdaq. WTI oil is traded at the highest level in four years.

Shares in Europe are growing after mixed session in Asia. Index Stoxx Europe 600 gained 0,3% after slow start. British FTSE is up 0,2%. German DAX rose by 0,1%. Euro gained 0,2% to $1,1766. British pound increased by 0,3% to $1,3158.

Japanese shares grew to the highest level since February, while Chinese shares went in different direction. As a result, Asian-Pacific MSCI Index gained 0,2%. Emerging Markets MSCI gauge lost 0,2%.

S&P 500 is firming together with Nasdaq that rose after news that Instagram’s founders are leaving Facebook Inc.

Bloomberg Dollar Spot Index lost 0,1%, while yield of US Treasuries reached 3,1%.

WTI oil is traded at the highest level in four years at $72,47 per barrel. Price of gold is $1199,86 per ounce.
