Volkswagen is planning to repeat last year's record in regards to sales of Porsche brand this year as well, Reuters reports.

Sales of Porsche were 196562 cars in first nine months of this year. Sales growth in Europe reached 9%, while in China, which is the largest market in the world, they grew by 4%.

In 2017 the company sold 246375 cars.

So far Porsche AG is not planning to list its stocks on the stock market. In order to attract resources for new investments, for example, electric cars, Porsche is using partnership, production optimization and improvement processes, such as creating digital prototypes of cars instead of physical ones. Among partnership examples is cooperation with sister brand Audi in regards to creation of electric cars platform.
