Survey of economists conducted by Reuters, showed downgrade of global economy growth outlook in 2019. It shall be noted that in the beginning of 2018 all surveyed economists were optimistic in regards to future robust economic growth. However, now trade war between China and the US, as well as tightening financial conditions will be the main reasons for the next economic downturn.

Survey showed that 70% of 44 economics already reached their peak.

Recent changes in growth expectation are observed amid active selloff at financial markets, especially in emerging economies.

Economists are expecting significant slowdown in the US economy at the end of next year.

Global economy growth this year is still forecasted at 3,8%, while next year it will fall to 3,6%.

Forecasts of economic growth from China to Africa and Latin America were downgraded.
