Boeing Co. made a touch down at land of its rival, Airbus SE, Bloomberg reports.

US producer of airplanes opens its first factory in Europe today. The plant is located in Sheffield, England and cost 40 million pounds. The factory will produce system control components for models 737, 737 Max and 767. And although it will employ just 52 people, it will create good base for further expansion, even despite of Brexit, the company's management thinks.

Factory will produce 10000 titanium components per month. It then will be sent to the plant in Portland, Oregon, USA.

We would like to remind that in June Airbus, which is producing wings in Wales, warned the government of the UK that the company might leave the country, if it exits common market of EU and bloc's customs union without transition deal.
