Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA raised costs forecast, Bloomberg reports. The company is too sensitive to growing fuel prices.

Price of aviation fuel grew in third quarter by 85%. As a result, unit cost of Norwegian for the whole 2018 increased by 2,3%.

So far the company does not have success with expansion of transatlantic directions, which puts shadow on ability to implement Norwegian's budget model for long haul flights. Besides, airline is having problems with cash.

Norwegian is still pursuing its intentions to add 40% of capacities this year. It also plans to add from 15% to 20% of seats in 2019.

Norwegian's earnings in third quarter met analytics' expectations.
