So-called FANG stocks as well as shares of other IT-companies fell during late session on Thursday, Reuters reports.

Amazon.com and Alphabet Inc informed about disappointing quarterly results. Nasdaq futures lost 0,8%, while S&P 500 index fell by 0,5%. As a result, US equities might open lower today.

FANG group along with such IT heavyweights as Apple and Microsoft made a large input into growth of S&P 500 in recent years. This is why decline in these shares may put downside pressure on the market.

After closure Amazon lost 8%. Quarterly sales of the company grew to $56,58 billion, which misses analytics' estimates. Alphabet also did not meet expectations in regards to revenue. As a result, stocks fell by 4,7%.

Netflix and Facebook are down 3% and 2,3% respectively. Snap fell by 11% after number of active daily users declined.

Twitter demonstrated good results and shares grew by 15% after the company meet Wall Street's expectation in regards to revenue and profit. Intel Corp gained 3,5% after impressive quarterly report.
