Stocks fall after US Fed rates hike: Market News

According to Bloomberg, shares in Europe and Asia are sliding today as investors are evaluating future rates hikes by the US Fed. Euro lost 0,2% falling together with Italian bonds and British pound. Banks showed the biggest losses within Stoxx Europe 600.

According to Bloomberg, shares in Europe and Asia are sliding today as investors are evaluating future rates hikes by the US Fed.

Euro lost 0,2% falling together with Italian bonds and British pound. Dollar is rising with Bloomberg Dollar Spot Index gaining 0,3%. Turkish lira is up 0,4% to 6,0876 per dollar.

Banks showed the biggest losses within Stoxx Europe 600, which lost 0,4%. US futures in S&P 500 declined by less than 0,05%.

Oil is rising as the US decided not to release its emergency stocks. WTI oil gained 1% and is traded for $72,27 per barrel. Gold is up 0,1$ and costs $1196,01 per ounce. LME copper lost 0,7% to $6237 per ton.
