It seems that Germans and Britons got tired from European heat. Reduction in late summer reservations and decline in shares of travel giant TUI by most in two years support this statement, Bloomberg reports.

As TUI notes, there is no signs of late season sales that usually rise during cooler summer seasons.

According to Bloomberg, European shares fell on Thursday, while US futures grew after positive trading session in Asia. S&P 500 gained 0,1% and together with Dow Jones and Nasdaq futures will most likely open slightly higher. Bloomberg Dollar Spot Index grew 0,1%. WTI oil price gained 0,3% to $67,11 a barrel, but still is close to seven-week low. Most industrial metals grew together with gold that is traded for $1214,70 per ounce.

Tesla may become private

Shares of Tesla Inc grew more than 7% on Tuesday after CEO Elon Musk said that he considers making company private at price $420 per share, Reuters reports. According to CEO, Tesla  is experiencing period of intensive growth with financial constraints.

If such deal becomes true, Tesla’s price will be about $72 billion.

Europe's brewers suffer from hot weather

Even beer was affected by unusually hot summer in Europe, Bloomberg writes.

Barley crops in northern Europe suffered from hot and dry weather, creating problems for brewers, which need to buy malt. Yield of key producers in Scandinavia, northern Germany and Baltic countries could be 30-40 percent lower than normal.
